I am so excited to be leading the new middle school at Dr. Hani Awadallah! After more than 20 years in education, I can honestly say that helping students grow and thrive remains the most rewarding part of my work. I’m thrilled to join this wonderful school community and look forward to partnering with families, staff, and students. Together, we’ll create a true village where every child is supported, encouraged, and celebrated.

Growing up as a trilingual student in an urban district, I was deeply inspired by the dedicated teachers who believed in me and nurtured my love for learning. Their passion and support shaped my educational journey and motivated me to pursue a career in education. Now, as I enter my 25th year in this profession, I am driven by the same desire to give back and be that inspiring educator who empowers and uplifts our students, just as my teachers once did for me. I am excited to be part of the DHA community and look forward to collaborating closely with families to support our students’ growth and success together.

As I enter my 24th year in education, I still feel the same excitement as our parents, teachers, and students at the start of each new school year. Growing up in the inner city, I was inspired by my 3rd-grade teacher to pursue a life in education, and that experience sparked my passion to make a difference in the lives of urban youth. I can’t wait to guide your children toward success and help DHA grow into the best middle school ever! Together, we will build a school community filled with encouragement, opportunity, and achievement.. This year is full of promise, and I am confident that DHA will shine brighter than ever before.
